Bringing the Heat and Polka Dots

This Los Angeles heat makes me want to imagine I am in the Caribbean.  So, I am dressing like it.  Without any tropical vacation in sight (bummer), I am engaging my imagination!  I am channeling The Golden Girls sitting on their lanai except with less clothes.  Ha!

I am loving polka dots...they are the new black, you know.  I am making them go with everything.  Then, I pulled this necklace out from the back of my jewelry box.  I have had this one for 7+ years, oh god, really?  Anyways, draped it down my back and now, boom! a new feel!  Yes, I used 'BOOM!'
